(I have followed the details given in the Acharyal Madathu Panchangam as well as the panchangam published by Giri traders . I have also given the time of change of Thithi and Nakshatra  so that people  , who do thapanam in the early morning   as well as those who are living abroad  in various  countries, can also use it correctly. All times given are IST   which should be transferred to local time )  

Amavasva Tharpanams are supposed to be done after Madhyahneekam but  in  practice people do it in the early morning and go to office. Let such people also see  if there is a change in  Thidhi and Nakshatra  . I have been  putting this information  every year for the past 19   years. I know that many more people are compiling such lists and are also putting it nowadays. I also see lot of my face book friends , post the sankalpa  of the concerned month. I know a Brahmin priest  Srikantha Vadhyar of Bangalore  , who sends it to his  client group by Whatsapp   every month
 I know that  my compilation is not that necessary now but am putting it by force of habit. I am already 79. I know about  40 thousand people   used the information contained  here during 2018-2019  by directly visiting this  blog and downloading the information .  )

17-7-2019   Chandra  Grahana THarpanam

Somaparaga  tharpanam (Lunar  eclipse  1.30 am to 4.30  am) ( Would be putting  this for other countries  where  this eclipse  is visible   in the month of july. Stars affected are  rohini , hastham, pooradam.uthradam, thiruonam)

The following stars    are affected Poordam,  Hastham, Uthram, uthradam and sravanam . Tharpanam should be done before  the Grahana leaves ie  before 4.30 am  . Since in this case  it happens in the  mid of night , Tharpanam can be done next morning

(Those  whose Nakshatra   the eclipse are affected , should write the following sloka in a palm leaf / thick paper  and tie it to their forehead. After the eclipse this palm leaf/paper  should be removed. Then they should give in charity one Ash gourd, coconut and coin to a Brahmin.

      I’m recommending Dr Godday to everyone who have herpes virus to get the cure from him.       But instead of discontinuing it completely, would it be possible to hand over the responsibility to another volunteer, and you can just help with final reviews just before publishing.
      It would be great if you can share which part of this great volunteering work is taxing for you (preparing the yearly schedule, editing the information, publishing the info to web portal etc.)
